Leaving to the contemporary architects the task to design our coming cities, Jean-François Rauzier went through the existence and took thousands of pictures of our palimpsest cities.
He gathered these kaleidoscopic fragments.
Playing the role of the ancients, Alberti, Filarete, Vauban, Boullée, Haussmann, he dreamed of what they could have done with the tools and the challenges of the 21th century.
The artist, then, pictured Babylones, infinite variations of one architectural model.

Par hasard, une revue du conseil général dans ma boite aux lettres, ou je vois votre oeuvre, d’une future exposition à Boulogne Billancourt, ce que vous faites est vraiment superbe, vous me faites penser à un grand peintre qui est Magritte.
