Exhibition Dream of Venice

As part of the exhibition Dream of Venice at the B. Magrez Cultural Institute, Jean-François Rauzier reinterpreted the traditional pattern of painted ceiling. He proposed for the occasion a monumental wallpaper of 7m in diameter revisiting the biblical topic of the rise of angels to heaven.

Echoing the major religious decorations and painted cupolas by Tiepolo, Jean-François Rauzier presented an ascending ceiling where monumental photography replaced painting.Exhibition Dream of Venice, from March 23 to July 21 2013.
