Gaîté Lyrique: Paris Musique Club

More immersive and innovative devices: hyperphotography in motion

For the event of Paris Musique Club, which takes place from October 24^th to January 31^st 2016, Gaîté Lyrique explores the links between sound production and visual arts, with a non-standard event, mixing numeric cultures and artistic universe through ‘free hand’ given to creative groups or labels.

In collaboration with the group Scale, Jean-François Rauzier’s work ‘Balade de Paris’ leads to an unprecedented realization that invites public to experiment and invest an augmented Paris: video mapping, 360° projection, virtual reality. An immersive and interactive installation of hyperphotography in order to sublimate the contemporaneous music through picture and light.

After the success of ‘Balade de Paris’ installation, a tour begins at ‘Tropisme’ festival in Montpellier. Other dates are planned in Asia and in the United States.
